The Sun is My Nemesis

I lived in Boston for a couple years, and as soon as the weather started getting warm, people would break out the shorts and lounge around outside in the sun. I don’t blame them; it’s miserably cold in Boston for so much of the year that you have to enjoy the sunshine when you can. I do envy them though; lounging in the sun is not something that I will ever be able to do. Just one of the downsides of being a redhead, unfortunately: extreme pallor. I can get a sunburn in 5 minutes flat.

A summer scene along a river. In the background, is a bridge and a cityscape. People ride in boats along the river. In the foreground, people lounge around on the grass, wearing brief, light summer clothing. A jogger runs by in shorts and a sports bra. The drawing is separated into 2 sections. On the left, with all the lounging, scantily-clad people, the text over the image reads "other people in the summer." On the right, the text reads "me" over a woman wearing full-length sleeves, jeans, sunglasses, and a hat, and carrying an umbrella.
